Andreas Wiegenstein is engaged in SAP cyber security since 2003. He discovered quite a number of zero-day vulnerabilities in SAP software and supported development of a market leading static code analysis tool for the business programming language ABAP. He has spoken at more than 70 conferences world-wide about SAP security, including Black Hat, DeepSec, Hack In The Box, IT Defense, RSA, SAP TechEd and Troopers (alphabetical order). His current research is focused on SAP malware and supply chain attacks.

While this would be my first conference talk, I have been actively involved in the security community and previously volunteered at BSides Delhi as a moderator. This gave me exposure to how talks are structured and delivered, and how to engage with an audience effectively.In my professional role, I regularly present security risks, audit findings, and control gaps to stakeholders, which has helped me develop clear and structured communication skills. I’m excited to bring these real-world insights to a broader audience.

Dave has 30 years of industry experience. He has extensive experience in IT security operations and management. Dave is the Global Advisory CISO for 1Password. He is the founder of the security site Liquidmatrix Security Digest & podcast. Dave also hosts the Chasing Entropy Podcast. He was a member of the board of directors for BSides Las Vegas for 8 years. He currently serves on the advisory boards of Byos.io and Knostic.ai. Dave has previously worked in critical infrastructure for 9 years as well as for companies such as Duo Security, Akamai, Cisco, AMD and IBM. Previously he served on the board of directors for (ISC)2 as well as being a founder of the BSides Toronto conference. Dave was a DEF CON speaker operations goon for 13 years. Lewis also serves on the advisory boards for the Black Hat Sector Security Conference in Canada, and the CFP review board for 44CON in the UK. Dave has previously written columns for Forbes, CSO Online, Huffington Post, The Daily Swig and others. For fun he is a curator of small mammals (his kids) plays bass guitar, grills, is part owner of a whisky distillery and a soccer team.

I have a speaking experience of almost around 2.5 years, I started givung sessions from my own college utself and then I have been approached to provide expert training sessions in multiple colleges by far I might have given training sessions at around 6 to 7 colleges and i have also given online sessions as well. I speak at the intersection of cybersecurity, operational technology, and real-world impact, primarily across food systems, agriculture, and zoos and aquariums as part of critical infrastructure that doesn’t always get enough attention.My background spans over 25 years in technology, along with experience in environmental systems and industrial operations, which shapes how I approach risk. I don’t treat cybersecurity as an IT problem. In the environments I work in, it manifests as production downtime, food safety issues, animal welfare concerns, supply chain disruptions, health/safety risks, and broader operational risks.I’ve delivered keynotes, conference talks, panels, and podcasts across industry, community, and global events. My focus is on making complex topics practical and relevant to the people who actually operate these systems, not just those who secure them.I tend to speak in stories and analogies because that’s how people actually understand this work.
