Born from 20+ years of organizing one of Asia's largest security conferences, our mission is clear:eliminate the pain points that plague the CFP ecosystem. Our Story
CFP Directory was born from over two decades of real-world experience organizing one of Asia's largest security conferences. The team behind CFP Directory founded and runs Hack In The Box Security Conference (HITBSecConf), which started as a small gathering of Malaysian security specialists in 2002 and has since grown into an internationally acclaimed conference series spanning Malaysia, Netherlands, and beyond.
After 20+ years of organizing conferences that have attracted thousands of attendees from over 30 countries and featured hundreds of world-renowned security experts, we've experienced every challenge in the CFP ecosystem: managing overwhelming submission volumes, coordinating reviewer teams, tracking speaker communications, handling multiple event logistics, and watching organizers spend thousands of dollars developing their own platforms.
We built CFP Directory with a clear mission: the next generation of event organizers shouldn't have to suffer the same struggles. Every conference shouldn't need to reinvent the wheel and spend precious resources building submission systems from scratch. At the same time, speakers deserve a unified platform where they can showcase their expertise, track their submissions, and build a comprehensive speaker portfolio—like a professional CV but specifically designed for the speaking circuit.
