Areas of Expertise
I present a practical method to fingerprint operating systems over Bluetooth Low Energy using software-defined radio. This talk presents a practical method using a single HackRF One to elicit OS-specific responses from multiple OS and devices. By combining passive advertising analysis with active, polyglot probes, we derive robust features for rapid OS identification and discuss defensive implications. Evaluated with open-source tooling and reproducible experiments.
