Ruggiero Dargenio has a strong background at the intersection of engineering, computer science, and applied AI, shaped by academic experience at ETH Zurich, MIT, and Politecnico di Milano. Over the past years, he has worked hands-on as a data engineer and data scientist with global organizations and fast-growing startups across Switzerland and the US, helping teams move from experimentation to real-world AI deployment.

Today, Ruggiero works closely with companies on the practical adoption of generative AI and LLMs, supporting use cases across research, operations, and product teams. His work focuses on translating fast-moving AI capabilities into concrete workflows, internal tools, and playbooks that create measurable business impact rather than one-off demos.

He is the co-founder of GenAI Zurich, the largest industry AI conference in Switzerland, and is deeply embedded in the European and Silicon Valley AI ecosystems, with a network that spans across continents.
