The Utah Cybersecurity Society (UCS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the cybersecurity community through accessible education, professional development, and community-driven events throughout Utah and the Intermountain West.
UCS brings together cybersecurity professionals, researchers, students, educators, and those interested in entering the field to learn, share knowledge, build professional relationships, and engage with the broader security community. Through conferences and community programs, the organization creates opportunities for participants at all experience levels to connect directly with industry professionals and experts.
The Utah Cybersecurity Society organizes Security BSides conferences in Utah, including BSidesSLC, BSidesCache and BSidesRedRocks, with programming focused on practical cybersecurity education, technical knowledge sharing, hands-on learning, career development, and community connections.
At its core, UCS is focused on building a stronger and more connected cybersecurity community—creating opportunities for conversations, connections, education, and career growth.
